SCORECARD
Rising up and down from Chingford plain and in and out of the forest, after what appears to be an innocuous start there are plenty of challenges to follow.

Descriptions are written for the average golfer. Low handicap players and longer hitters may well use a different strategy.
Straightforward opening to a raised green.
Slight dogleg. Down to the elbow and then uphill to a sloping green. Beware the valley of sin.
Signature hole to a severely sloping green. Treacherous if putting downhill and do not go left of this green.
An uphill drive to a L-R sloping fairway. Beware the ditch all the way up the hill on the left.
Gentle left to right shape. Don't get stuck behind the row of birch trees to left.
Not long but guarded by the oak tree. Fairway slopes to a ditch on right. Long hitters take your chances of missing the greenside bunkers.
Very wide but very shallow green. Don't be short, don't be long.
Picturesque views. Downhill drive .. aim to the right of the oak tree. Cut the corner if you're long enough.
Easy Par-5. Straight and straight again.
Stroke Index 1. Straight down to the end of the fairway in one, two or several shots, then cut across the ditch.
Sweeping uphill left to right dogleg. Hard to hold green running away downhill to the back right.
Straightforward hole but notoriously difficult to hold the green.
Lovely par-3 played over (or through if you're lucky) the tree tops.
Great views from here. Sweeping downhill right to left dogleg. Hillside slopes severely right to left. Cut the corner if you dare.
Uphill trek. Approach shots to left of green present a tricky chip onto the green. Approach shots to the right may end up in the forest.
Simple dogleg right to left. Long hitters may cut the corner.
Dog-leg R-L. Play to the right to open up the green but be careful of the OB (Practice field).
Almost a Per-5 with water in front of the green. Two shots down to the pond for average golfers, then a pitch to the green and hopefully a single putt. Longer hitters can reach in two.
